You can also ride the Warren County Bikeway north to Lake George Village, and launch your kayak, canoe or paddleboard from the Glen Lake Canoe Launch. For golfers, Queensbury offers several public courses, including Bay Meadows Golf Club, Hiland Park Country Club, and the Queensbury Country Club.

 

The Town of Queensbury is home to many popular attractions, including Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park & Hurricane Harbor Water Park, the famous Martha’s Dandee Creme, and the Glen Drive-in movie theater, which offers a rotating schedule of double feature films on two screens in the summer. In the winter, Queensbury’s West Mountain Ski Area offers downhill skiing and snowboarding, tubing, rentals and lessons – and it’s the only mountain in the area that has lights for night skiing.

 

With dozens of locally-owned restaurants and national chains, Queensbury, NY is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Held every September at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, the Adirondack Balloon Festival is the oldest and largest hot air balloon festival on the East Coast. The four-day event features multiple flights of 70+ hot air balloons, food and craft vendors, kids’ activities, live music and more.
